The GEMTONE JR. is a 12 watt push pull EL84 based amp with a
cathode follower Marshall style tonestack. Loosely based on the 18 watt
Marshall, it has been scaled down to 12 watts to make it a practice
friendly amp and perfect for home project studios where being too loud
can create a problem. It is a small package but the cabinet is deep
enough to project good bottom end through the 10" Eminence Ramrod
speaker. The amp has plenty of clean headroom for recording and it
might be enough for a small dinner club gig. It loves pedal and records
like a little mofo.
